So, I'm going to try and upload some colored sketches based off of the fantasy comic I'm working on. Some of these descriptions may be a bit wordy, so if you don't want to read all my lore crap, that's fine. Enjoy the art, I guess.

A lot of these sketches will be concepts- like creatures, characters, etc. Some of these may appear in the comic proper and some may not. Also, if they appear in the comic, they may or may not appear different from the sketches. Anyway…

The first group of sketches will be the races that appear in the comic. These, of course, are Humans. Humans, like in most fantasy media, are the generalist race. While they don't have any notable "special abilities", they don't have any major drawbacks to them either. Being clever and adaptable, they've found themselves to be the vast majority of Vaterim (the name of the world in the comic). They can be found in most countries and even in the ancestral countries of other races, a minority population of Humans find themselves able to make a home. The reason Humans are such a basic race is that they're the second oldest race, acting almost as a protoype race for all other races afterwards.

As seen by the Humans in this example sketch, there's a strong Western feel in the main setting of the comic.
